Kam and Michael decided to have their wedding at their favorite brewery, surrounded by their chosen family and friends!

If you were to ask me what the most important part of your wedding is, I would give you the same answer every time: make sure your wedding matches who you are as a couple. For Kam and Michael, they chose to have their wedding at Une Année in Nisles. Their big day was all about personal touches. From a giant cannoli dessert from their favorite baker to inviting their closest family and friends, every detail was thought out. We started the day at the couple’s home so I could snap photos of them with their cats (always my favorite way to start the day!). They opted to get ready together and forewent a first look or “traditional” getting ready photos.

The couple kept their guest count small and their ceremony short, but every guest felt included in the day. Kam and Michael greeted all of their guests as they arrived to Une Année, a gorgeous brewery with string lights and outdoor seating nestled in Niles. During their ceremony, the couple exchanged personal vows that made a few of their guests tear up (and rightfully so!).

Kam and Michael’s reception was all about the family-style vibes! They shared big plates of bar food, poured bottles of wine, and shared huge laughs as the sun set behind us. We snapped a few pics in Une Année’s brewing room and topped off the night with a massive custom made cannoli that was filled with small cannolis! I can’t really properly explain how amazing the cannoli situation was.
Congratulations to Kam and Michael!
