A classic and romantic West Loop wedding

Oh my gosh, Adam and Travis’ West Loop wedding was a dream! I had met Adam and Travis the year before when we took engagement photos in Lincoln Park, and I was so excited for the big day. Side note: engagement sessions are like, my favorite thing to do with couples before their wedding. It allows us to get to know each other and have fun in a more casual way!
From getting ready together with their wedding party to walking through Fulton Market to take portraits, the day started out perfectly. The couple have been together for years, and they wanted their wedding to feel authentic, classic, and meaningful. Adam and Travis’ ceremony and reception were located at Morgan’s on Fulton, a stunning multi-level loft space in Fulton Market with views for DAYS. As we walked through Fulton Market to Morgan’s, it was so apparent that these two had nothing but love for each other. They held hands the entire time, laughing with their wedding party and taking in the warm sunshine. I didn’t feel any nerves with Adam and Travis; they were ready to tie the knot.
Morgan’s on Fulton is the perfect venue to capture the city vibe. After the couples’ indoor ceremony, guests moved upstairs to the rooftop to take in the warm air and stunning views of Fulton Market. Following a picturesque cocktail hour, the DJ introduced the wedding party and Adam and Travis. Everyone cheered and clapped for the happy couple! Pro tip: If you’re not interested in a big DJ introduction, you can simply have them play your favorite song as a couple and make your way into the venue. No big announcement needed! However, if you’re like Travis and Adam and can’t get enough of high energy dancing and time on the dancefloor, then you’ll love a big introduction!
After dinner and speeches, the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance as husbands. They danced to Walk the Moon, their favorite band (excellent choice!) while their friends and family cheered them on. Then, it was time to let loose! Everyone got into the spirit on the dancefloor, and OMG, was it fun to capture! I absolutely love dance time, and Morgan’s on Fulton has the most beautiful space for nighttime dancing. We ended the night with a beautiful portrait of Adam and Travis on the terrace.
From start to finish, Adam and Travis’ wedding was an absolute joy. I am so grateful I was a part of their amazing day, and I can’t wait to capture another beautiful wedding at Morgan’s!
