Daniel & Diane at Bottom Lounge

D&D, dog portraits, and dancing the night away!

9.24.22

To me, there’s nothing better than a couple who are truly in the moment on their wedding day. They’re not worried about the little things, and they’re not stressed about the day ahead-they’re just there for each other. That was Daniel and Diane! We shot their engagement session on a rainy day at Metropolitan Brewing, so I already knew that they were adorable in front of the camera. When we met on their wedding day outside of Bottom Lounge, they were just happy to be with their family and friends (and their dog Pippin!)

I took the wedding party to Union Park nearby for portraits, and, sorry Daniel and Diane, but Pippin stole the show! He was the center of attention in the cutest way possible, and he loved getting his photo taken. After portraits, we went back to Bottom Lounge to get ready for their ceremony. The weather was perfect, so they had their ceremony on Bottom Lounge’s rooftop. The couples’ details were a dream. Diane created almost all of their decorations, including the giant paper flowers that she walked down the aisle with.

The couple’s ceremony was picture perfect (no pun intended!). The weather was lovely for a rooftop ceremony. Daniel and Diane exchanged personal vows and walked back down the aisle with Pippin, surrounded by bubbles and cheers from friends and family. Diane crafted the beautiful paper flowers herself!

The couple’s reception was filled with board games, dancing, toasts, and constant laughter! Their joy radiated throughout the venue, and I am so happy I was able to be a part of their amazing day! Thank you both, and I wish you nothing but love and dog cuddles forever.
